Coach Cody Knight is in his 2nd season as the head coach of the Central High School wrestling team. The Lions are coming off of a region duals title in 2021-22. Coach Knight is married to Christen Knight of Moultrie, GA, and they have two dogs, Dixie and Josey.
This is my first year at Central High School. I am excited to be a part of the Lion family. I have taught at Villa Rica (94-98), Washington-Wilkes (98-00), Paulding Co. (00-11) and recently Alexander (11-22). For the last 20 years I was a Strength and Conditioning coach. I have coached almost every sport at some time or the other in my 28 years. Currently I am coaching football and wrestling. I have been involved with FCA for many years. I am a member of Lifegate Church in Villa Rica. My wife’s name is Misty and we have 2 children, Lindsey and Jonathan.
